Maybe you should consider posting your OpenPGP Key on a keyserver or
have some way for us to import it. I could not find your key at all.
In order for signing/encrypting to be effective, we must have you key

One good keyserver is subkeys.pgp.net. Another good one is the PGP
Global Directory (keyserver.pgp.com), in which validation is required;
That adds extra proof that your key is authentic.

I've just removed my key from the PGP Global Directory as I don't
think it is serving any useful purpose. Since I uploaded my key there
a couple of years ago they have signed my key over 30 times! That's a
bit more than every six months and this has been without emailing me
to verify that the key is still valid.

I've had problems in the past with their public key that's available
on the key servers. It had loads of signatures and caused various
problems in GPG. Eventually I found a minimal version of their key
that has removed the problems.

I know others have had issues with the GD e.g.

http://www.kfwebs.net/articles/article/17/GPG-mass-cleaning-and-the-PGP-Corp.-Global-Directory

I guess the way keyservers work means we are stuck with some of the
problems as I understand that I would not be able to get all those
extra signatures removed.

Not signing as the Yahoo web groups may mess it up anyway
