Thread: Automatically Encrypt

Automatically Encrypt
country flaguser name
United States
2007-03-01 19:59:08
I need to automatically encrypt a copy of three files and
transmit
them through a VPN to a remote site. I do not need to
automatically
decrypt them on the other end but I will need to access the
files
every now an then. The files will be transferred every day
and will
be stored in a directory automatically created by a batch
file that
has that date as the name. Can somebody point me in the
right direction?

Thanks,
Ron

Hi Ron,

If you're asking here, then you've decided to use PGP for
file security,
in which case you're probably looking for command line
tools, which
necessarily means GnuPG (http://www.gnupg.org/) or
PGP Command Line
(ht
tp://www.pgp.com/products/commandline/index.html).
