Since the update in gpg, I seem unable to get 'GPG Keychain
Access'
application to remain open, run, or otherwise be usable. All
I see in
the Activity-Monitor is a temporary listing then it goes
away.

The following appears on the console.log

Ooops! GPG Keychain Access is hard-coded to look for gnupg
in
/usr/local/bin/gpg

not

/usr/bin/gpg

which is where your gpg currently resides.

You could run this installation and this will cure the
problem.

http://rjhansen.cs.uiowa.edu/~rjh/GnuPG-1.4.7-P
owerPC-no-IDEA.dmg
http://rjhansen.cs.uiowa.edu/~rjh/GnuPG-1.4.7-i386
-no-IDEA.dmg

The signatures can be found at:

http://rjhansen.cs.uiowa.edu/~rjh/GnuPG-1.4
.7-PowerPC-no-IDEA.dmg.asc
http://rjhansen.cs.uiowa.edu/~rjh/GnuPG-1.4.7-
i386-no-IDEA.dmg.asc

This installer doesn't have IDEA support, but will include
placing a copy
of gpg in /usr/local/bin.
I tried doing a manual copy or creating a sym link but ended
up with
permission denied responses. This was despite running the
commands as a
user with admin privileges.
