Hello PGP-Basics,

I am forwarding this message, because it never showed in my
inbox, and if
it is not a "gap" from my side i think is a
serious security break.

In yahoo.groups I have receive individual emails, as option,
and I have
ever my sent messages received in my inbox.

Is it something related with moderation? If so, please
correct it.

I am sorry for those who are receiving this post two times,
if any.

PS: I realy need a clue to solve this problem.

NV.

Subject: MacGnuPG 1.4.7 makes copies of gpg Home?

Hi,

I've updated GnuPG 1.4.6 to GnuPG 1.4.7 for OS X from
macgpg.sourceforge.
To my surprise, now I have a folder in my Home named,
"gnupg.macgpgsaved.07-03-10_00.20.48" with all
stuff from ~/.gnupg copied
inside:

gpg.conf
pubring.gpg
pubring.gpg~
random_seed
secring.gpg
trustdb.gpg

Doing gpg --version, shows Home: ~/.gnupg

Is this a normal behavior for this version, (never notice
this with ver.
1.4.5/6), or some other program did it?

If is a new feature, I don't feel very easy with copies of
my keys made in
the background.

You consider what "a breach"? That the MacGPG
installer made a backup of
~/.gnupg? How is that a breach? To whom was the information
revealed? I imagine
that making a precautionary backup of things like private
keys before an upgrade
was probably considered my the MacGPG delopers to be "A
Good Thing (TM)".

That you didn't get the message you sent in your inbox?
Check the group page at
Yahoo!, if it's there, we got it. The URL is at the bottom
of every group message.

BTW, we got it - I have a copy in this list's folder. Notch
your paranoia
setting down. Yahoo! will suspend email delivery to you if
it encounters *any*
error when attempting delivery, repeat *ANY*. That includes
transient errors
such as "server busy".

Check your Yahoo group setting to see if your address is
possibly in a bounce
status and needs reactivated.

I strongly doubt that. If your prior message had been
rejected, the moderators
would have informed you of that fact and the reason for the
rejection.

<clue lart-lvl=none>
You have an issue specifically with MacGPG. Ask on the
MacGPG list. You can even
find the maintainer/developer's email address(es) on that
product page so that
you may write to them directly.
</clue>

Message CCed to you in case you are, in fact, having
delivery problems with
Yahoo! mail.
