I'm glad it was useful.  However, in the future, could you
please trim
your quotes so that you're only quoting the material
relevant to what
you're saying?  I'm sure the non-programmers on the list
(who are the
clear majority) would appreciate not seeing any more code
than they
absolutely have to.

Sorry.  I don't do encryption operations in my code; it's
purely a key
manager.

That's because it's a blocking call.  If you call ReadLine()
when
there's no input to be read, it's going to block until
there's data
available.  Which may be never.
