Hi guys,

I've browsed the discussion forums on
source forge to see what the problem is
with private methods/vars inside classes
not being parsed by PHPDoc, and I see
guys talking about adding "-pp" to the
command line when launching phpdoc.

I've tried to check out the
phpdocumetor.ini file, and i see
nothing in there that will help me
configure the web browser version.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Vladimir

Greetings, Vladimir...

The phdocumentor.ini file is for general runtime settings for PhpDocumentor the app, whereas the "user settings" INI files are where you can specify runtime options for a specific execution of PhpDocumentor. You'll find several example user INI files in your PhpDocumentor installation in the PhpDocumentor/user directory. If you want to store runtime options like "-pp on" (aka "--parseprivate on") in an INI file rather than choose them on the web interface each time you execute, then copy one of the existing INI files and set it up with the options you want. ; There is a space on the webform to choose a user-configured INI file, so that's where you'd put that file's name.

But again, it's not mandatory to use an INI file. ; You can just make such a runtime selection on the webform itself. I don't have an installation of the webform to look at right now, but I remember those options are there, just on one of the other folder-tab views and not the starting view of the page.

Hope that helps...
