note 74193 added to function.getimagesize

I'm wondering if there is a substitute for getImageSize when
using a buffered image.

My images are stored in raw data to a MySQL database.
I would like to get the same informations (width, height,
bits, channels) without having to dump my image into a
file.

If someone knows something like that, let me know ...
