"
1. Install the JavaBridge for PHP
"
I don't know about other people, but that first part is the
hard part for me.
Regardless of whether you mean the JAVA extension i.e.
http://php.net/
manual/en/ref.java.php
or the sourceforge project i.e.
http://php-jav
a-bridge.sourceforge.net
Their installation is hard... at least for people like
myself that are not knowledgeable in JAVA. Can you give a
link to (or better yet - create) a detailed step-by-step
tutorial for installing either of those, assuming the reader
has no JAVA knowledge at all, and assuming they have PHP5
and Windows too (we're talking the greather newbies like
myself that can never learn to work with UNIX)? I'll be
delighted to read it. But don't just link to/create
"copy&paste" configurations... explain what
each means, why it has to be set, and what may need to be
set in certain cases.
In the meantime, my wrapper(http://xslt2pr
ocessor.sourceforge.net/), now has error handling
functions too. I'm not going to mention what's on the
roadmap anymore, as it may become outdated at some point.
Let's just say that I'll be maintaining it at least until
PHP has a PECL extension for XSLT 2.0.
