I have installed the x86_64 free version of 2007.1, and I am
also getting this
message everytime I log into KDE even though CUPS is already
installed and
working.

description:
With mandriva-linux-2007.1-one-Beijing-KDE-i586.iso, as soon
as KDE begins to boot, a message dialogue box appears in the
upper left corner of the screen which says that the distro
cannot install CUPS. Using a browser to try to connect with
"http://localhost:631"
says that it doesn't exist. Drakconfig doesn't allow
printers to be configured. On the other hand, Metisse and
Free "huanghe" work well.
