finding the current include path?

hello!

I am working inside a big system that uses smarty. trying to
add some

({config_load file=$ui.langStringsFile })

to the templates. but the files cannot be found...

is there a smarty config setting to setup where the config
files are
loaded from?

i would have thought the path would be relative to the main
.php file
that was calling smarty, but it doesnt seem to be so.

tx!
