Jim,

I've already used a PIX w/ 64MB of RAM memory with FOS
7.x. But it's been used for a lab and not for
production purpose. It might be the reason I've never
seen this kindda behavior with the PIX I used to use.
Anyway, I would suggest you to upgrade the RAM to
128MB as Gopinath told you to do. After 16 days (if
you PIX crashes after 15 days that could be a good
time) you could tell us whether it's working properly
or not!

Hi Rowan,

You have a 515E with a Restricted license. Therefore, to run 7.x code
you only need 64 MB of RAM. 128 is required if you had and
UnRestricted (UR) license.

I see you are running the first release of 7.2, I highly suggest you
upgrade to 7.2(3) (assuming you have a SmartNet contract on the
device). 7.2(3) is much more stable than the initial release of 7.2.

If you want to look into this further, you can paste the output of
";show crashinfo" into this thread, or open a TAC case.

Sincerely,

David.
