I did the same upgrade last year and all I did was copy and 
paste the config from the 501 to the 515E. ; I didn't have a DMZ port, but 
in your case, I would just shut it down.

My current 501 is 
working very well except the VPN bottleneck.  So now we just bought the 
515E with DMZ.  


My question is: can I 
just copy the entire 501 configuration file for 515E. ; Will it work? 



Since the 515E is with 
DMZ do I need to do extra work to disable the DMZ function or just let it 
alone?
