I use Kattare for a client and other than a few random outages the past year, maybe 3 total, we have been happy with them. ; Plus, they are local, Corvallis, and they allow Hibernate, etc... That application they host for us uses hibernate, webwork, spring and other popular libraries/frameworks all without issues.

I like Lunar Pages, and they've been pretty good when issues arrise.

However, i ran into a recent problem with them in that they won't let me
run certain other code components such as Hibernate. ;They claim it's
too resource hungry. . ;So for that client, Lunarpages isn't gonna work.

BTW: Carey, do you really live in the Cocos Islands? Have you had
any problems with using a non-typical TLD?
