Centerstance is seeking a Java Web Application
Developer for a 6 week contract (the last 6 week contract we did for this
client is now going on 10 months). This assignment is for our client located in
Wilsonville, Oregon. The assignment will
run from Mid November through December 2006.
We are looking for a consultant that will commit to work throughout the

POSITION: Java Web Application Developer
Responsible for Java application and web front-end development with database
interaction programming using JDBC in a Struts-like MVC environment. The
project is the modification of a web based business application to support the
annual planning process.
Expertise in Java, Struts, XML, and Object
Oriented patterns and programming concepts required. Must
have several years of experience in developing web applications with database
interactions. Must be familiar with technologies such as JSP, CSS,
DHTML, Hibernate, AJAX,
JavaScript, JUnit, source control (preferably ClearCase), SQL (preferably Oracle), Ant and application
servers (preferably Tomcat). Familiarity with multi dimensional databases such
as Hyperion Essbase or Microsoft OLAP a plus.
Individual must be highly motivated and self-directed. As part of a
multifunctional applications development team, you will be responsible for
design and programming aspects of a large project and must have the ability to
work well in a team environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors
degree in related field.
Four years experience in Java web application
web development, preferably using Struts.
Two years experience with relational databases
(SQL, JDBC).
Experience with graphical layout of web pages
highly desired.
Experience with graphical layout of JSP pages
highly desired.
Experience with IBM DB2 Alphablox
for the presentation layer a plus.
Must be able to demonstrate
work and code samples from multiple projects.
