Adecco Direct Hire is currently seeking an Infrastructure Developer (Java) for our premier client in Portland, Oregon.

 

Our client is a well funded start-up Personal Health Record firm, Non-profit - 5013C Corporation, but paying industry rate salaries. 

Their mission is to develop a personal, private and portable health care record Technology - Open Source 211; Object Oriented Architecture – Linux, Java, PHP, C++ mySQL - need to write to portable devices.

Expect to utilize Xtreme programming techniques.

Experience with Healthcare or Financial services, data security, or EDI is important.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

 

+ Minimum 2 years of Java development experience.

+ Proficient in web-based architectures and network protocols.

+ Experienced in the use of software development tools (source code control, bug

    tracking, profiling, unit testing, and debugging).

+ Strong software design, systems analysis, and programming skills, with expertise

    in Java, J2EE, MVC frameworks (Struts, Tapestry), XML, Web services (RESTful

    and/or SOAP), and design patterns.

+  Experienced with JBoss and Tomcat.

+  Other helpful skills include: Eclipse, Maven/Ant, Subversion, JUnit, JavaDoc,

    Log4J, UNIX command line.

+  Excellent oral and written communication skills.

+  Good interpersonal skills.

      +  Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

 

 

DESCRIPTION

 

Responsible for system architecture, analysis, design, development, and delivery of production infrastructure. Elicits requirements and constructs functional and/or design specifications. Researches and recommends methods and technologies for improving software performance and quality. Estimates implementation time and risks for low-to-moderately complex software modules. Considers unit-test and software quality assurance needs. Verifies and resolves software defects/bugs. Maintains and improves existing systems as required.
