Hi folks, just wanted to drop you a note to let you know
that we have
made it to our new home with the computers and animals.
Well,almost.
This computer is at a local library about 36mi north of our
place.
Since it took almost 5 days, we wanted to make a quick
check. Hope all
is well in PageStream land.
First, our truck would not start, then as we pulled out the
friends
truck pulling another friends trailer broke an axle in the
driveway.
Luckily I had packed our trailer for a second trip later
this month
with less important items. Since the animals were all loaded
and the
pens/houses etc torn down we couldn't wait for the first
trailer to
get fixed so we left it and took the second trip trailer. We
have most
of the important stuff with us _except_ the house steel to
cover the
outside with. That will obviously be a bit difficult to work
around,
so I will probably make a fast two day trip back to
Wisconsin to get
it once the frame is up (this weekend's job, weather
permitting).
Lastly, we blew a tire after 9pm last night on the second
trailer
which has no spare of course. Luckily we found an employee
of the
local tire shop who had a used tire that fits and he opened
the shop
and changed it out for us!
What a ride!
