According to the above, in PageStream's "Print
setup" window he must choose

  Type = Preference

and previously back in Turboprefs have already activated a
printer driver for
his 2040 machine. For the 7.6 version of TurboPrint, the
drivers that obviously
are of a BROTHERly nature are:

Brother_24-Pin, Brother_9-Pin

Lot's of luck with that.
