I just tried to import a PDF into PageStream and got a nice
application crash.
I did not produce the PDF (I downloaded it from Magnatunes,
its cover art for
an album I purchased) and taking a gander at the contents it
looks like:
1. the PDF was produced by Adobe Photoshop 6.0 for Windows
2. it has a flate encoded object that looks to be a (small)
image
3. the main part seems to be a JFIF
4. there does not seem to be any text (not that I can see)
I'm curious if anyone else can confirm with similar files
that PageStream
crashes.

Tim,
If you will send me the troublesome PDF privately, I'll see
if I can dup
the problem failure.

I have some PDF's which won't open in PGS: PGS (Win) goes
out with a crash!
I did send two offending PDF's to Deron about two and half
year ago. The
PDF's still won't load with PGS 5.0.3.4.
One of them PGS itself had fabricated, one I found somewhere
on the
Internet.

Thanks for the replies. My thought was to see if there was
some commonality
that could be identified as being the source of the problem
before I opened a
bug report.
I tried to send the PDF privately and it looked like it was
going out to the
list anyway. When I tried to kill the email being sent I
apparently lost the
last few messages in my PgS mailbox and in fact am left only
with this one
open to reply. Oh well.
