Okay, I'm trying to figure out how to do what should be a
simple operation in
PageStream but I'm apparently missing something and am
hoping that someone
knows the answer.

How do you get a string of selected text? You can call
GetCursor() to get the
beginning and end of a selection, there are commands to
delete it, copy it to
the clipboard or do most anything but pull it into a script
as a string. At
least, if there is a way I can't find it.

I think a simple way exists for straight text, but I can't
be positive.
I'm don't have my code handy here. What you might also do is
export
using ascii text filter (and pagestream text codes).
