if true, this is a very critical bug. setting it to critical
status until it is
confirmed / denied.

wifi usb ralink RT2571 freeze MAndriva spring 2007.1 (RC1)

All wifi usb keys (DLINK DWL122, Ovislink 54  and more
actual usb keys ) with ralink RT 2571 Chipset are recognize
by Linux mandriva 2007 or 2007.1 (Spring)  but when modprobe
is loaded , computer don't works any more

- all becames very slowly !
- Shutdown is not possible any more 
- console is   repeating charaters

And you just can make an hardware reboot ...
I've been trying thos wifi keys (Ovislink and Dlink) with
two differents Mandriva computers (DELL Desktop and Sony
Vaio laptop -> same results )

Those keys are working well  with Ubuntu 7.4  ...
