Look at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:IBM_logo.png Now you can't copy this. That won't work good. The blue's aren't transparent, and the blanc's are now black. But if you click right at IBM_Logo.png and do a Save link as... (translated from Dutch!) and save it anywhere on your harddisk. You can now see transparency if you place this .png at a PGS-document..
