You'll need a pdf print utility. For Windows, I always recommend
PDF-Xchange at http://www.docu-track.com/. There are free ones and
there's always the Distiller-to-Ghostscript alternative. But PDF-Xchange
has outstanding compatibility with PageStream, it's very well supported,
the pdf files are quite compact, and the price is very reasonable. You
use it just like a physical printer, then attach the pdf it creates to
your email. Tracker's pdf viewer is also a nice alternative to the
Acrobat viewer.

On the Mac just choose "Print" then choose "PDF" One can then email
the resultant PDF, or fax it, or turn it into Postscript, etc.
Gets you past whatever bugs the Application may have in PDF translation.

(Macs can run Windoze now!)

You don't mention what platform you are using. If it is windows then you can
use of the many PDF printer drivers out there (at work I use Primo for this
purpose with MS Word, but there are many others, a search of this discussion
list should provide a selection).

On any platform you can "print to file" making sure to select postscript as
the type. This output can then be converted to PDF. There used to be a free
online service for this but I'm not sure what the name was or if it is still
around. I *think* Adobe did or does offer such an online service. In general
ghostscript can be used to do the conversion -- on linux this is usually
already installed and there is a convenient alias, ps2pdf, for that purpose.
