the maybe best result you can reach by using a mask for the
picture. i
usually do it like that:
- load the pic into a graphic program of your choice
- creat a b/w version of the picture where the later
transparent background
is white and the solid foreground is completely black.
usually this can be done by using different filters and
reworking it
manually
- load this b/w picture into BME and convert it to a
"real" b/w picture
- use BMEs trace functionality to create a vector version of
the b/w picture
and save it (dr2d?)
- place the original picture into pagestream
- also place the vector drawing into pagestream - you may
need to dissolve
it once
- correct the size and position of the drawing to fit the
picture as exactly
as possible
- select both and chose the mask graphic menu entry
voilá
maybe you need to train this a little bit but usually the
result is almost
perfect.
