Hi Folks,
This afternoon I finally got the folks a enom to grab the domain and
after renewing it (again) I got it back. Just 7 days and $10
unnecessarily poorer. I'm not expecting to get my money back from
registerfly. Their only response to this was "not our problem anymore".
You would not believe what all I had to do and how many stupid canned
emails I got from tech support people who obviously never read what I
wrote. I suppose there is a lesson in that for me. Really, I'll try and
do better answering my emails

Thanks for your patience, hopefully everything is back to "normal".
Plus, we have Internet at home now!!! It was installed Sunday morning,
but Monday it was not doing so well. Not sure what the problem is. We
may have been "throttled". I am afraid that keeping under our "fair
usage" quotas will not be so easy Even with the "business" plan we
have, my wife and I do more than a "normal" user evidently. Time will
tell...

Ok, just about 18 more sheets of drywall to go and I am about into the
house!

I double checked to be sure and it *is* back. Very good.

Somehow I'm not surprised about the throttling. Best of luck with that. (Did
you know the US, even with our artificially inflated statistics*, has fallen
to 24th place for broadband penetration?). But the real news is you have
Internet again. Excellent!

Better and better!

Tim Doty

* basically if one person in a zip has broadband available to them everyone is
counted as having it.
