Borders crashing PGS 5.0.3.4 Pro Win

I can't even draw a border, PGS halts and crashes.

Open PGS (important for the first part of my story!).
Open a new document.
Then take the border tool (the lowest of the toolbox).
Draw something (then suddenly PGS stops leaving a black quadrangle kind
of figure). No problem, do this again then something is left on the
document.
Now go to the object tool, and then click on FX in the Edit Palette.
Then... PGS crashes.

If you had already opened a document and did something, then the 'Draw
something (then suddenly PGS stops leaving a black quadrangle kind of
figure)' doesn't happen.
The rest is the same.

The 'something is left on the document' does change in form when zooming
in and out.

Somehow I did manage in earlier PGS's (before 5.0.3.4) some kind of
borders because in Edit Palette there is a Name (still selecting the
border). When trying to changing it to another border it crashes also!

a quick read sounds like you are getting the border very small and PgS is
having difficulty with rendering it. If you select the border tool, click
once on the document and once elsewhere (far enough to get good border sides)
this should work.

Unless... the first border in the list is corrupt. Just some thoughts right
now.

Something is wrong on my computer!

I just unzipped a brand new PGS 5.0.3.4, and the borders work!

So, tomorrow I will have a look what went wrong.
