Hi Tim,
Thanks for your quick feedback. I suspected it might be one of those
problems which has been fixed at some stage on later versions.

In fear of asking the obvious, is the version I'm using, 4.1.5.6. the
current full release for AmigaOS3? I did purchase the 5.0.3.3 beta
(MUI version) but found this to have serious stability problems despite
having all the current versions of MUI custom classes.

4.1.5.6 is quite usable, but this one particular problem of subscript
characters poses a major problem for the work I'm doing.

So I'm wondering:
- Is there a more recent version of PageStream 4.x I can try for
AmigaOS3?

- Is is possible to generate a patch which fixes this issue with
4.1.5.6?

- Is there a more recent version of 5.x which may have had some of the
stability problems addressed?

For an Amiga setup, yes. I think there is a later 4.1.5.8 but I vaguely recall
someone claiming that 4.1.5.8 is not very stable. I still use 4.1.5.6 on an
AmigaOne.

If you want to help Deron as a betatester with the 5.0.x.y versions for Amiga
by all means do so, but although I have some version of Pro 5.0.x.y it is not
useful at this stage.

I doubt it, but Deron's website should answer your question after a quick scan
of what is downloadable.
