I just bought a new PC to replace an old unreliable one and
I made a
conscious decision to buy an XP based one.

I went to a specialist PC maker who builds exactly what you
want (even
the oS!).

Too many `horror` stories about Vista (things like refusing
to allow an
owner to save his own video files `because he didn`t have
"permission"`).Plus the need for a MUCH. higher
spec JUST to run Vista

The most exciting phrase to hear in science, the one that
heralds new
discoveries, is not Eureka! (I found it!) but rather,
'hmm.... that's
funny...'.
