Silly of me to reply (proves I have real work to avoid, though) but yes,
skeletons, though I agree with your wife about the skull-and-crossbones.
Also white-sheet ghosts (round "o" mouths, of course),
witch-and-broomstick sillouhette against a full moon, and black cats.
Pumpkins - well, jack o'lanterns certainly, but plain pumpkins also
evoke Thanksgiving, in the US anyway.
No question, Tim, skeletons are the way-coolest!
