Hi Deron,
Since you haven't posted a "Eureka! - it's fixed!" message I thought
I'd post my results on the printing for what it's worth. First, I
have been using PGPro 5.0.3.4 (Windows XP) and the pdf save works
fine. Tried the 5.0.4.3 beta and no luck with or without the fonts
option checked. It exists with a problem and I get a 0 byte pdf.
Printing to my remote Canon 780 never has worked which is why I use
the pdf. I think I read on this list somewhere that it's a problem
with networked printers or networked Canons. Any hope that this will
work someday? *Other* DTP programs work with that configuration ok
but I prefer to work with PGS. I don't do all that much DTP anymore
but it would be nice if everything worked
Thanks,
Fred Pierce

Thanks Fred.
I don't have a network printer up yet, so this won't change in the next
beta release, but at least your postscript and pdf output will I am
pretty sure this worked in older versions of 4.1, so I am still at a
loss as to what changed. Yes, the whole display library rendering
changed, but when it comes down to the Windows printer output, it all
remained pretty much the same.

Not sure it's related but I have trouble printing with my Epson RX580.
It's not networked (connected via USB) and not a Canon, but other that
that it sounds similar. Like you I can print fine with other
programs. It's seems to be just Pagestream that gives me trouble.

Canon has told me that I cannot use Canon bubblejets with a print
server. The printer must be connected directly to a computer either by
USB, parallel or ir. Furthermore, the driver must be on the computer
that the printer is connected to. That driver must be shared with any
remote networked computers from which printed service is to be initiated
and PageStream and other apps must use the Windows drivers on the
computer to which the printer is connected.
Works fine on my network.
