winPgs 5.0.4.3 pro: crashes when i'm using the 'save as pdf...'

hi all,

with winPgs 5.0.4.3 pro i'm experiencing the trouble on
subject: ever it 
crashes when I'm saving a document as pdf...

can anyone help me? give some strange preferences-problem
(folder to 
define, like in the case of an very very old print problem)
or there a 
little bug?

at time when i must to save as pdf, i'm using the old winPgs
5.0.3.2 pro 
without any kind of problem. the pdf file could be big,
sometime would 
be huge, but their dimension is not a very problem.

another way would be:

1. to print the document as .ps file

2. then gsView converts it on pdf.

but the gsview's-generated-pdf file has some characters
wrong (like the 
Euro-symbol, that is well displayed in my winPgs document
but not in 
gsView's pdf file).

Stop looking for a way around: this won't work.
PGS 5.0.4.3 (Windows!) has problems with PDF and PS!

Just wait a couple of days, and version PGS 5.0.4.4 will be
downloadable.
This is what Deron said just yesterday:
"... I am very near to releasing a new beta for 5.0.4
Windows/Linux/Mac..."

In the meantime use an older PGS, than 5.0.4.3!

Since I've never been able to do printing with any of my
5.0.x versions of 
PageStream for 68k Amiga, I don't know if this will work..

However, under 4.1.5.6 printing to an eps file does work. 
Then I can use 
GPStill (a shareware program) to create the pdf document.
This creates embedded fonts for any fonts created with
TypeSmith.  If the 
pgs document can be printed, a pdf of the document can be
created that way.

Hi Paolo,

That version is, to use a technical term, borked*. In all
seriousness, either 
use the current stable version or the previous beta.
Hopefully in the 
not-to-distant-future there will be another beta that works
better but IMO 
that one isn't even worth messing with.
