the current os4 beta supports ttf very well. others are not yet supported
afaik. at least not bery well. i'd stick to ttf nevertheless,

well. this definitely should work. i use it

well - the current versions are still beta. so reapers can occur. but in
general the os4 beta is quite stable.

is only there if you install postscript fonts with type manager.

nope. these are the fonts needed by ghostscript, which is installed with
os4.
