I wonder if somebody else has problems with printing to a PostScript
printer?
I have a problem turning that PostScript file into a pdf with Adobe's
Distiller (I have no PostScript printer). It only gives me log files,
meaning that there is something wrong.
Made a new document and put only a character (frame less) on it. PGS ->
PS -> PDF: a good pdf!
Made a new document and an empty text frame in it. PGS -> PS -> PDF: a
good pdf!
A new document with a text frame, put in the lorem ipsum text: PGS -> PS
-> PDF: a log file.
Log file:
%%[ Error: undefined; OffendingCommand: show ]%%
Stack:
1.0
[8.33333 0.0 0.0 -8.33333 -2481.14 3508.55]
[8.33333 0.0 0.0 -8.33333 -2481.14 3508.55]
%%[ Flushing: rest of job (to end-of-file) will be ignored ]%%
%%[ Warning: PostScript error. No PDF file produced. ] %%
I use as PPD: ADPDF7K.PPD (but I assume that ADPDF5K.PPD also gives this
problem).
PGS 5.0.4.4 didn't had this problem! Is it the (Arial) TrueType fonts?
Anyone?
Greetings,
Theo
