Amiga v5.0.3.3pro on WinUAE

Hi all,

Have finally got round to trying to port some of my software on to WinUAE
running under AmiKit, including pagestream v5.0.3.3.pro.

I have also realised that I had previously only been running v4 on the
amiga. I had upgraded, but never installed, before the hard drive died.

I have two questions.

1. when I double-click on the PageStream icon, the splash screen comes up
and then an error message stating
"Amikit:dtp/pagestream5.0.3.3pro/softlogik/printers/.rsc is missing"
appears. If I click on "ok" the program proceeds to load. How do I get rid
of this message. I checked the downloaded archive fle and there doesn't
appear to be such a file present.

2. Once loaded, the program opens on the workbench screen. Having been used
to a separate public screen under v4, I want to do the same in v5. Where in
the MUI preferences do I find the option? I have looked on the online
manual, which describes v4 and not v5.

In my Windows (!) folder are (PGS 5): Bitmap.rsc, PostScript.rsc and
Windows.rsc (I have no WinUAE or Amiga Forever on my machine nowadays).
The locale folder is full of .rsc files for the different languages. Do
you have as local a different language then: American?

I have looked in some old directories from my old Cloanto/ Amiga Forever
install (WinUAE), but my 'latest' PGS version was PGS 3. So no resource
files then.

easy

- start pagestream
- go to the system setting -> screen prefs
(this will actually open the mui prefs)
- define a new screen in mui and tell pagestream in those mui screen prefs,
to use it.

i only have v3.9 (os4) of mui where the screen prefs inside mui have been
changed compared to 3.8. so i cannot provide a step-by-step solution -
sorry.
