One other Vista related thought: Microsoft changed "Documents and
Settings" as well -- though the directory appears to exist it does not
really (a special kind of shortcut that Microsoft claims is a unix-
style soft link, but it isn't). Which means if you are running Vista
and manage to copy files there it doesn't do any good. Again, a moot
point if you aren't running Vista...
