Re: Deleting pages

Hi all,

I'm having awful trouble trying to delete pages from my 52 page doc (page
limit is set to automatic).

When I use the delete command for a page early in the document with no
frames or any objects on it, it seems to delete pages at the end of the
document (not the last page, but the pages before it).

The page I tried to delete is usually still there.

This is mighty frustrating!

Any thoughts?

How are you going about the deletion?

In the menu there is Layout > Delete Page... and in the Page Palette pages can
be deleted directly by dragging them to the trashcan.

In the Layout > Delete Page... dialog it wants to know the chapter to delete
pages from and the first and last page to delete. This defaults to the
current page.

What version/platform of PageStream are you using? I tend to use 5.0.3.4 Linux
and haven't had issues deleting pages using the menu. I don't do so
frequently, but often enough.

What version of PageStream are you using? Are the pages numbered from 1
- 52 or do you have some starting page number set?

I've not heard of any problems of this nature. If you can archive and
email the document to me at support%40pagestream.org">supportpagestream.org I can certainly try
and reproduce your problem.
