Yes I can but the file requester is still displayed behind the
Navigator window As the Navigator can be neither closed nor moved
aside, part of the requester remains blocked; that's the problem.
Wasn't like that in earlier versions.

Ouch. I have that version here, but have never gotten around to
installing it because I haven't started a new document recently. From
what others are saying, this problem varies from machine to machine,
which is not good. PageStream on Windows has always had problems with
window "focus," but this is pretty extreme. Have you experimented with
screen resolutions? That might nail it down a little bit. Perhaps, in
the meantime, you should file a bug report including any factors you can
discover that might help. Bug reports are more likely to get sorted out
than occasional hits on the mail list.

I'm using Vista here and also have this problem.
