I just tested and it works for me in PgS 5.0.4.17 Windows. What version of PgS
are you using? Is it a beta version? Though this would not be an expected
problem, beta versions are just that: beta. Things don't always work right.
What application are you trying to paste from? If you don't program you likely
don't realize this, but once clipboards got more complicated than plain
text -- well, they got more complicated. Applications don't always use the
clipboard correctly which prevents conformant applications from using what
they put on the clipboard.
In short, what application are you using to do the "copy" function with? Maybe
it is broken. I normally use linux and have found that OpenOffice doesn't use
the X windows clipboard in a way that PgS understands (when unicode text is
involved), but FireFox works with both. So it is kind of strange, but I can
use FIreFox as an intermediary in those situations.

That bug was actually one of them (as most before last year) that came
from the old bug tracker. To "close" this for you, I'll post here what I
need to add to the new bug tracker entry:
"This has always worked, but if you copy to the clipboard from another
application and PageStream can't paste, I will need to know at the very
least what the application is that is copying to the clipboard."
A clipboard can contain _any_ data from _any_ program in _any_ format.
If you are having troubles with this, I'll need to know more details.
