Thanks Michael, I'll give it a go.

Does it change any of the positioning of elements in a page?
I want to print
out some good quality inlays for DVD jewel cases, and don't
want my
template wandering outside of the perforations.

well, i found that the placing is 100% correct. but this may vary with other
printers. go for it.
don't forget to use the correct acrobat distiller ppd. i uploaded it to the
files section here several month/years ago.
