query about an existing error in spreadsheet

Hi, 

I am using pear package in my application for making the
spreadsheet,
but continuously getting an error while execution, 
Incorrect Format.
Incorrect File Format.
Can you tell me why this is so?
Is there any particular specification in using the pear
package or
anything else?
