Displaying Quickform validation errors with ITStatic renderer

By window do you mean the little javascript dialog?  This is
because you
are specifying 'client' here:


> $form->addRule('email','Enter
email','required','null','client');


Don't pass anything to this parameter to keep the default of
'server'.
