Sorry to be picky here, but since you never reached version
1.0, you can
release services_Technorati as 0.7.0 alpha without penalty.
I strongly
encourage you to pull 2.0.0alpha1 and release it as 0.7.0
instead. The
only reason this matters is consistency across all PEAR
projects makes
it easier for users to decipher the meaning of version
numbers,
otherwise I wouldn't mention it.
Sorry for being unclear, I'm learning what we need to do.
All of this will be, of course, more moot once we have
support for
package.xml generation through roadmap.
Thanks for your understanding, this must be annoying to do
all the work
and have to change course so many times.
For future reference, if you are logged into pear.php.net,
go to
http://pear.p
hp.net/Services_Technorati and look on the lower right,
you'll see suggestions for the next version number based on
stability.
If you follow these suggestions, you'll never have any
difficulty like
this again.
