about package.xml suggestions for developers

I've noticed on connecting to my pear account , that one of
my package 
"PEAR_PackageUpdate_Web" give me this warning :


"
WARNING: the last release of this package used package.xml
version 1.0, 
which is deprecated. To use package.xml version 2.0, run
"pear convert" 
to create package2.xml. Both package.xml and package2.xml
may be used 
together, or you may choose to replace package.xml with
package2.xml for 
the next release.
"

But release 0.3.0 (the last one) have both package xml
versions 1.0 and 2.0

Don't know if someone has already raised this potential
problem .
