I have just implemented automatic password reset
functionality now that
we have accounts for bug tracker + voting.
If you don't remember your password, you can reset it. The
way it works is:
1) you fill out a form with your new password
2) pear.php.net sends you an email with a private
confirmation code
3) you visit a website in the email, type in your username
and the
confirmation code
4) your password is updated
These steps are taken so that only you can reset your
password. The
password is never displayed or emailed.
