Hi Alan,
This is a possible solution. I will try to make the
confirmation
process far more painless as well. No time to code new
solutions until
the plane ride on Sunday, but I'll see what I can do.
I took a look in the database, and saw the account request
of the user I
believe you're quoting and confirmed him/her. I also tried
again to
open a bug and create an account through the process, and
also to
comment on an existing bug. When I opened an account by
commenting on
an existing bug, I did *not* receive the email. I will try
to find the
source of the problem and get it fixed by Monday.
In addition, the same process should be available for
posting patches as
opening bugs, I'll try to get it up and running so that you
don't have
to open a bug or comment to add a patch.
Sorry for roadbumps, this system will be running smoothly as
soon as
possible.
