XML_Feed_Parser has been in for a while, and is gradually  
progressing. From the most recent discussion, it seemed like
the feed  
writer proposal was in flux, and could do with some work.

I had had some idea of working on an Atom Publishing
Protocol  
implementation, but haven't had a chance to (or even to
keep up with  
recent drafts of the protocol). If anyone does work on one,
I'd  
definitely hope that we could make sure it interoperates
well with  
the feed parser.
