I agree. A single blogging package that could talk to any
kind of
blogging server is what we need. Here's what I propose:
1) First create an XML_Atom package, since there is no
implementation of
the Atom API in PEAR currently. Like XML_RPC, this package
will have
more wider applications than just blogging.
2) Then make XML_RPC and XML_Atom optional dependencies for
Services_Blog.
3) Two sets of drivers for Services_Blog, the first set uses
RPC, and
the second uses Atom.
I'd also like to know if anyone is working / had worked on
implementing
the Atom API as a package in PEAR.
