I don't have any *.bat files in PEAR or PEAR/PEAR. Could
the fact that
I have multiple PEAR installations be the problem?

I tried to create a new folder - C:phpx - and placed the
files from
<http://www.php.net/get/php-5.2.2-Win32.zip/from/a/mi
rror> into it. I
then typed "go-pear" and "pear
channel-discover pear.phpunit.de" and get
the following message:

Channel "pear.phpunit.de" is already initialized

Why would it be initialized? I did a "local"
install - not a "system"
one...

Ahhhh...

Do a "pear config-show" to see what pear
installation you are actually using
by just running "pear" without an absolute path.
Some of those settings
will tell you which pear installation you've been using all
along. Once you
determine where that installation is, then look for the bat
files there.
