HttpRequest

Is there a reason we're not using this instead of
HTTP_Request and  
HTTP_Request2? Seems a bit stupid to create a PHP5 version
when this  
already exists.

PEAR packages should be independent of pecl extensions if
possible.
HTTP_Request2 could use the extension if available, but
provide its own implementation otherwise.
