Hi Emmanuele,
Unless you have a specific reason for combining the webapps, I would recommend that they are kept separate because it will reduce any potential conflicts (now and in the future) and let you upgrade much more easily.
Is there a reason you'd like to integrate the webapps? Could they be deployed next to each other instead?
Cheers
Simon

Dear list, I am a first-time user of Pebble, which looks exactly what I was after to add some blogging functionality to my website.
Therefore, I downloaded the 2.0.0 package and started tinkering with it on my local host.
Part of my current website is managed by a very simple custom-made web application (a few JSPs and servlets), deployed as a war file underTomcat; I would like to
integrate my old web app and Pebble into one application.
In my current web page, the JSPs are available under the jsp/ subdir of the war file. I've made my first trivial integration attempt by making one single war file with the
all Pebble components along with my JSPs in the jsp/ subdir of the war archive, and merging the content of the two deployment descriptors (web.xml). I could deploy the resulting war file under Tomcat, but when
it comes to invoking my old JSPs as I was used to, e.g.
http://localhost:8080/mywebapp/jsp/foo.jsp
I get an error message complaining that the requested
resource is not available. It looks like the Pebble engine does some kind of URI remapping by decorating it with additional paths like "templates...", etc.
So here comes my question: how could I solve this problem,
for example by preventing some given URL/URI pattern(s) from being altered by Pebble?
Thanks in advance for any help/suggestion, Emmanuele Sordini
