BUG: Text abbreviation disregards atomicy of html entities

Hi!

I found a bug in the abbreviation functionality used for
displaying blog entries in the sidebar (i.e. truncating the
text after a certain length and append "...").
The problem is that the truncation is applied after the
conversion of non-latin characters to html entities without
regarding the atomicy oh these entities. Thus it can happen
that "Wünsche" (which is
"Wünsche" with html entities), becomes
"W&uuml..." when accidentally truncated right
before the semicolon of 'ü'.

The bug exists in the current code base (I saw it in my
pebble version built from the current sources last night).

Regards
Torsten
